Peking Glass Dragon Vase
This handsome vase is hand carved Peking glass featuring a dragon wrapping around the body of the vessel. This deep blue and green vase is 11 inches by 4 1/2 ca. 1900.
Peking glass became popular during the Qing Dynasty 1644 - 1911, and features delicate carving and layers of colors in the glass. A technique later used by Émile Gallé, known for his art nouveau glassware.
