Old Pawn Ingot Turquoise Men's Ring
Some of the oldest Navajo pieces are made of ingot silver, derived from silver coins, and hand-hammered by first nation artisans to create beautiful and valuable jewelry. The pieces were often pawned for goods and collected later. More times than not, the pieces were not collected and thus are noted as old pawn. This ring is made of sterling silver and features a wonderful oval turquoise stone in a bezel with braid detail. The band has engravings and is a size 10 with a width of 1 3/4 inches. Signed FG.
