Monumental Carved Spiral Seashell by Ed

I’d like to know who Ed is. He does some very fine carving of seashells. And signs them quite prominently. The spiral tip to the curved lip is just shy of two feet, with a diameter of 10 inches at the widest point. The shell has one repair which I just now noticed. And I have spent a good amount of time admiring it and taking photos. You will be hard pressed to find the restorers work. All in all, Ed’s shell is a beauty.
