J. & L. Lobmeyr Champagne
In my search for the perfect champagne glass, I always come back to this elegant example of purity in form, function, and material. I first saw this angel at MOSS in Soho. Designed by Ludwig Lobmeyr in 1856, this series has been in constant production and is made of lead-free crystal glass. They call it muslin glass, inspired by the french silk fabric. Though I can't imagine anything more inspiring than this champagne coupe. I was able to purchase quite a few from an estate sale. These are early to mid 20th century. 14.25 cm tall and 9.5cm In diameter.
