Hand-blown Glass Clown Decanter
Clowns enjoyed a renaissance in the mid-20th century. They popped up in paintings, and were displayed prominently on curio shelves and coffee tables. The Italians especially have a long history with these cheerful odd fellows. This glass decanter from the isle of Murano, was likely purchased as a souvenir. I think it would be perfect filled with simple syrup for summer iced coffees and mint juleps!
