This is an exhibition poster for the Edward Kienholz (American 1927-1994) exhibition at the Los Angeles Contemporary Museum of Art in 1966. The work of Edward and Nancy Kienholz (American 19434-2019) sought to expose the hypocrisy and immorality of American life. The mid-career retrospective caused such an uproar within the Los Angeles political community, it almost shut down the museum. Technology evolves, but species really don't. Adapt yes. Evolve. That is an entirely different matter. 14" x 23"
