A Pair of Art Deco Vases by Charles Catteau
A duet of art deco artistry in brightly colored glazed ceramic. First presented in Paris at the Exposition Internationale Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes in 1925, these were part of the Biches Bleues collection created by Charles Catteau for Belgian ceramic company Boches Fréres Keramis. Charles Catteau's art deco designs were influenced by Japanisme, Cubism, and nature. Each vase is 12 1/2 inches by 9 inches diameter.
