 A beautiful art deco ring, with a natural emerald in a square cut, or Asscher cut at 1.94 carats, taking center stage. The gem is transparent with a moderate green hue, and is mounted in platinum with 76 round brilliant cut diamonds.

Emeralds are in the beryl family of gemstones, and are famous for their brilliant green hues, and infamous for their fragility. All emeralds have inclusions, sometimes referred to as gardens.
