Framed Nature Studies from a 19th Century Sketchbook
This is a series of sketchbook pages by Japanese artist Ariyoshi Kondo circa 1830. Ariyoshi is known for the delicate brushwork and color used in his paintings.
The pages of Ariyoshi Kondo’s sketchbook are reproduced on richly textured Canson Arches papers and presented floated on a black ground in an archival black frame.
Each frame is built by hand, using UV protective acrylic, and measures approximately 14.75” x 11.5”.
