French Knife Set Circa 1850

This is a set of French knives from the Louis Phillipe Napoleon III era. The handles are ebony inset with a shield and blades made of steel. The knives are marked LEGRAND A PARE. The set was purchased at Vanves, the Parisian flea market in the 14th arrondissement. There are quatorze knives. I mean fourteen.
