19th Century Qing Dynasty Jade and Carnelian Inkwells

A pair of nephrite jade inkwells on hand-carved jade stands, with finials and feet made of hand-carved carnelian. Repoussé brass details are found under the lid of the inkwells as well as around the base and pen rest. The pair are in excellent condition and have a beautiful buttery celadon color. The bright carnelian truly makes these stand-outs. 5 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall.
