The work of well-listed American artist Seymour Zayon is bold and colorful. His paintings are studies in geometric abstraction with brightly colored palettes and clean lines creating color blocks and patterns. 

Mid Century Modern Ghost Portrait shows Zayon's sense of minimalist and humour. This painting in black and white is a rare example of Zayon stepping away from his  colorful abstractions.

He is somewhat of an enigma, but his body of work is expansive and highly collected and sought after.
